Smile darn ya, smile!

I am exhausted!! This week has been non-stop craziness with Annie, and we add another day of rehearsal starting this week. I don't want to complain too much thought because I truly do love what I do :)

So, moving on. Well actually there is not much else going on besides Annie. Life is life. I am so happy that is it summer though! The sunshine and warmth is amazing.

There is nothing else to speak of right now, so I will leave you with a quote that I have heard about a million times the past 2 months.

What am I going to do?

There are days when I kind of start freaking out a little more than other days about not having a job lined up for after Annie. I always know that God will provide and I need to trust in Him. I do trust God, but still part of me is controlling my life. I don't know how to fully trust Him I guess. That is something that I really need to work on!!

Ok, hold on...while I am writing this I am also watching Glee. Quinn just sang a solo and danced with about 10 other "pregnant" girls. It was hilarious, but I think it was supposed to be serious too. haha

Anyway back to important things. I know that a ton of other recent college grads, and other people, are in the same position as I am...without a job. However, sometimes I feel life I'm by myself...as I am sure the other grads and people do. A lot of my friends know what they are doing for the rest of their lives, or at least next year, but I have no clue! I really have to figure that out...soon!

One thing that I really am going to work on this summer is trust God and growing deeper in my relationship with Him. :)

Happy Memorial Day!!

It's people like my Papaw, my Grandpa, and cousin Brandon that I thank God for every day for keeping us safe and protecting our freedom. Thank you to all the men and women who serve our country!!

Today has been pretty low key, just hanging out with my brother and dad. :) It started out really rainy, but now it's sunny...and probably muggy. So needless to say, I haven't been outside today. My dad did make ribs though MMMMM... they were good!

So last night I continued reading, well actually listening to (I'll go into that in a minute) Broadway Nights by Seth Rudetsky. It's fiction, yet not fiction, and it is hilarious!! The setting in New York City and it is centered about this guy named Steven who is a sub for piano players in Broadway shows. It's pretty much Seth Rudetsky's diary that he made somewhat into a fiction. Anyway, I love it so far and it's definitely my kind of book :) Oh, and the reason that I am listening to it and not actually reading it is because I have to drive 1 hour each way to Mt. Vernon 4 times a week, and soon to be 7 days a week (and that's because of Annie).

My day has been boring, so I'll end my boring post.

I guess I've had this since December...and I forgot. Oh well, life happens.

So life as a college graduate is not so exciting at the moment. No job, no plan (well kind of a plan but not really), and I won't have a diploma till sometime in July (because MVNU can't figure out how to have diplomas ready for 300 graduates but somehow Ohio State can have over 5,000 diplomas ready) so I don't really feel like graduate yet.

Alright...the answer is......ANNIE (the musical)

That's right, I am the production manager/assistant stage manager for Annie. I get to spend my summer with about 100 other people (cast and production teams) which includes about 30 little girls ages 6-14. You will probably be hearing a lot about Annie until the middle of July. I won't go into any details right now, but it is VERY overwhelming but tons of FUN. :) I'm basically in charge of making sure the cast knows when and where to be at all times. It's so much work, but that's why I decided to make it my career...I love it!!

BTW while I'm thinking about it...keep my cousin Meagan and her friends in your thoughts and prayers. They are leaving tomorrow for Africa until June 24th. Have fun Meagan and I love you!!!
